Its Monday morning and Kelly heads off to school. As she is walking to school she sees the group of girls that are called the popular girls. They all are wearing the nice jeans that barely cover their hind end and the tight belly shirts. They are in a deep conversation about what party they will be attending this weekend and what boys will be there. Kelly hears the conversation and wishes that she could be invited just once to a party and to have a least one boy after her attention. As they get closer to school, Kelly hears them start to whisper. All of a sudden, they turned around and began to talk to Kelly. This is the first time all year they had spoken to her. She could feel her hands begin to shake and her legs get weak.
“Hi, we love your shirt. Where did you get it?”
“Thank you, I got it at Hollister.” Kelly’s voice began to crack and her palms began to sweat.
“Cool, did you want to walk the rest of the way to school with us?” “Sure.” Kelly’s was in heaven. She had finally made some friends.
